Spanish Celebrations

On Friday 15 June, Mrs Allan, Mrs McGrogan and 21 Y11 students went out for a Tapas meal at ‘Vista Mar’ in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, to celebrate finishing their GCSE Spanish exams.

The staff at Vista Mar were fantastic. They brought out a large variety of authentic tapas dishes including patatas bravas, calamares, boquerones, and chorizo amongst others. The food just kept on coming and coming, so much so that they let us take a lot of it home in plastic containers!

The students were exemplary and all of us had a great time. It was an excellent ¡Hastaend to a luego! fantastic few years of Spanish with these students and we wish them well for their GCSE results in the Summer.
