choice of paintings, furniture, silver, glass, jewellery, ceramics, carpets and rugs, oriental textiles, sculpture, fine art reference books and many other decorative works of art.

A year later, in 1893, he became seriously ill and failing health Cranbrook made him sell The Hill, his magnificent house at Witley, Surrey. He moved to Kent TN18 5WB where he lived for a further six years. This very large watercolour, measures Tel/Fax 76 x 68 cm, priced at £65,000 from John Robertson, would make a handsome 01797 252030 E-mail contribution to any Surrey house.
