At its opening, it was not quite finished. Crucially, the lifts were not working, so the visiting party had to trudge up the stairs on foot. F-19 Music Festival Saturday 27 July and Sunday 28 July

Whether you voted for or against Brexit – whether you are vegetarian or carnivore – whether you like folk music or thumping rock – you probably like music. Well, in July it will be on your doorstep! Around 20 solo artists and bands will be performing in St Mary’s, Feltwell for 2 days, singing anything from soft, lilting folk ballads to driv- ing electric rock anthems – a great variety of sounds for all tastes.

Why? The festival has been created to raise money to help fund the new toilets and kitchen in the church. When these are installed, even more events can place in the church in order to provide even more facilities for the village.

What’s on? Apart from the music, there will be a bar run by the Wellington and also various food stalls, catering for all tastes including vegetarian and vegan. The two days will consist of folk / acoustic acts during the day and rock and blues bands during the evening. Because St Mary’s has a limited capacity, only a certain number of tickets will be sold. You can buy a day ticket for the Saturday or Sunday or, for £5 more, buy a weekend pass.

F-19 is a bit different. Smaller – more intimate. Not the kind of festival where you sit in a muddy field with water seeping into your underwear! See and hear performers clearly. Relax in time and space to enjoy good music and good food and drink.
