SHAVATHON: The Shavathon was a successful external fundraising event in support of CANSA. We raised R2 125,00 which was handed over to CANSA. It was a fun and colourful day and we would like to thank all our children and parents for your generosity and giving Vuleka St Marks the opportunity to “pay it forward” as we are always on the receiving end of sponsorships and donations.

School maintenance: Over the holidays we painted the outside of our school. We were able to do this because of the assistance and generosity of the following people:  Seipati Mohoto & Phyllis Mqguba (Mum & grandmother of Rorisang Mohoto from Grade 1) who set the wheels in motion and organized the donation of the paint for our school.  Johanna Mukoki who generously donated the paint allowing us to give our school a much-needed facelift.  Dee Canaris for making sandwiches for lunch for all the worker elves that volunteered to paint our school and sending in her painter to assist complete the task of painting all the outside walls.  Pupils from Bryanston High School, Northern Homeschoolers, parents and staff who gave up their precious time to come out and do the physical labour that was required. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE DURING THIS MONUMENTAL PROJECT.
