From Arms 1939 to 1960 it served as a hotel with a supper club, booking jazz musicians of the day. The doors opened again when it was converted to a dormitory Hotel for Western Reserve University and Case Institute of Technology. The most recent renovations in 2011 have restored the building to use as a beautiful hotel, preserving and maintaining the integrity of its grand spaces and its meticulous, at times whimsical, architectural detail. Standing before the massive hearth in the Tudor Room will transport you to a time and place that only exists in books and old movies. The splendor of the Crystal Ballroom has been brought back to life and enhanced with murals painted by local artist, Nicolette Capuano. Prepare yourself for an evening of classic old-world charm as we celebrate the Shaker Schools in the beautiful Tudor Arms Hotel.
