Following Oberhausen and Wetzlar, Stefan Raab’s "Bundesvision Song Contest 2007" (Federal Song Contest) is now about to conquer the capital, Berlin. Premiering two years ago and created by Stefan Raab, the song contest has meanwhile developed into a recognized major event within the German music industry. Each Federal state enters an act into the competition. 16 acts will face the audience and viewers. The winner will be decided by the TV viewers by means of telephone voting and text messaging. There will be an evaluation of which state citizens vote for which state as local patriotism is a key factor in the competition – giving your vote to the act from your own state can often decide who wins!

At the second "Bundesvision Song Contest" in early 2006, the viewers overwhelmingly voted for Berlin band Seeed with their Song "Ding". And because Stefan Raab’s Bundesvision Song Contest is always hosted by the home state of the previous year’s winner, the musical representatives of the16 states will be traveling to the capital, Berlin, where Seeed will be performing their hit "Wohnzimmer", although they are not taking part the competition. For four weeks from January 15, 2007 onwards, Stefan Raab will be presenting the acts and the states they are representing in "TV total" (10:15 p.m., ProSieben).
