Letter from the CDMA, AP, Guntur vide Lr.Roc.No.11021/ 67/ 2020-J SEC(3693399/2020-J1), dt.14.10.2020. *** O R D E R:- In the circumstances reported by the Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, AP, Guntur in the references 4th & 5th read above, Government after careful examination of the matter hereby order for certain teachers transfers from one Urban Local Body to other Urban Local Body working under Municipal Education in the State as Annexed to this order, subject to vacancy position in the proposed new station against concerned Roster Point and obtaining the Council Resolution from the concerned ULB, and also on the condition that to forego the seniority in the old unit and to take last rank next to the last regular candidate in the new unit, without payment of TTA/DA and joining time, as the transfers are at their own request, in relaxation of orders issued vide references 1st, 2nd and 3rd read above. 2. The Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, A.P, Guntur shall take further necessary action in the matter accordingly. 3. Accordingly, State Government enacted Andhra Pradesh Municipal Corporations Act, 1994 to set up Municipal Corporations in the State. Provisions of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC) Act, 1955 including the provisions relating to levy and collection of taxes or fees were extended to all other Municipal Corporations in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Municipalities are governed by the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965.
