The Odd Couple landar i Sverige 2 april, och redan nu kan man skönja en blivande succé. Första singeln, souldoftande Run, är veckans Fresh på MTV och sin vana trogen levererar gruppen inte en video, utan ett mästerverk. Videon till Run är regisserad av Happy, alias filmmakarna Guy Shelmerdane och Richard Farmer. Handlingen: Gnarls Barkley uppträder i studion till programmet City Vibin’ i ett imaginärt tidigt 90-tal. Värden för TV- programmet, i en något annorlunda kostym, är ingen mindre än Justin Timberlake. Inte helt lätt att känna igen, dock. För videon till Who’s Gonna Save My Soul, som blir nästa video från albumet, har Gnarls återigen valt att samarbeta med Chris Milk som regisserade videon till Gone Daddy Gone från St Elsewhere. Gnarls Barkley, som består av artisten och producenten Danger Mouse samt vokalisten Cee-Lo Green, är kända för sina experimentella videor och liveframträdanden. Den massiva hiten Crazy illustrerades med Rorschachbilder, ingen missade väl Dennis Hopper som fanatisk rockhistoriker i videon till Smiley Faces eller Gnarls Barkley själva som tecknade bakterier i Gone Daddy Gone. I sommar kan den som besöker USA se duon på en flertal större festivaler. Danger Mouse har även inlett ett samarbete med Beck, och kommer att producera dennes nästa album.
