He also shot 50.0 percent from the floor and 80.0 percent from the stripe. Opoku tallied 11 points and a career-high nine boards against North Carolina A&T last Wednesday, then added a career-best 15 points and nine rebounds four days later at Morgan State. The 6’8” forward from Woodbridge, VA has started all six games for the Mount and ranks third on the team with 9.5 ppg and 5.3 rpg. Opoku also ranks first among NEC freshman and sixth overall in field goal accuracy at 52.8 percent.
