From Marvel Comics : She-Hulk #1 before purchasing it in order to gage whether or not it would be worth my time, and all praised She-Hulk #1:

An entertaining book that will bring a smile to your faceBy Travis StarnesIf there’s one thing you can almost always count on, it’s that a new She-Hulk series will be canceled before its time. That’s why I highly encourage everybody to pick up a copy of She-Hulk #1, which is pretty darned good. Check this series out, because the odds are good that it will get canceled before you know it.She-Hulk is written by , who is quickly becoming one of my favorite new writers between his work here, on Thunderbolts, and over at DC on Red Lanterns. The guy mixes a good combination of action and light-hearted humor, which is perfect for a character like the She-Hulk. In this premier issue, the focus is on Jennifer Walters’ career as a lawyer rather than as a superhero. That doesn’t mean there isn’t any action, though, and legal antics in a world of supervillains and robots are pretty interesting in and of themselves. This is a fun, light-hearted issue. There are only two things that I think might put fans off here. First of all, there isn’t much in the way of action – this story deals with character interaction and humor, leaving traditional superhero stuff, such as the aforementioned robot fight, to be resolved off panel. Second of all, Javier Pulido’s art style is not something everybody will enjoy. I personally like it, but the character designs are stylized to the point that some people might find it to be distracting. If you check online, you should find some preview pages. If you like the look of those, then this art is definitely for you.Overall, my opinion of She-Hulk #1 is very high. This is different, it’s entertaining, and it’s the type of book that will bring a smile to your face. She-Hulk series traditionally fail, but I would love to see this one be the exception to the rule.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Legal Adventures the Marvel WayBy Adam GrahamThis is a great first issue for a series I picked up on a whim. She Hulk (Jennifer Walters, formerly of the Fantastic Four and currently of the Avengers) finds herself dismissed from her law firm job when she refuses to use her superhero connections to steer work to her law firm. On her own, she finds herself thrust into a case for a woman who's suing a Stark subsidiary over a patent issue. She-Hulk thinks she can settle it in a simple conversation with Tony but it doesn't work out this way,Overall, I really enjoyed this book. She-hulk's a good character and I liked how the writer worked the legal stuff into the story. If I had one complaint with the issue, it was that it was a tad text-heavy, but I'm left curious that I'll probably take a gander at issue 2.1 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Good story so far, horrible artBy Skylar KimI actually really love She-Hulk/Jennifer Walters. I haven't read too much She-Hulk comics, but from what I read, she is a very interesting, well-developed character.I was hoping in the Marvel Now! run of She-Hulk would be able to make me interested in reading even more She-Hulk material, but it has put me off for probably a very long time. The dialogue is a little but text heavy, but I can deal with that. From what I've read so far, where the plot/story is going seems to be good too. I loved the fact that Jennifer Walter is willing to fight for justice, no matter how small, and whether or not it will conflict with her personal life. However, the art is horrendous. Normally, if a comic wasn't as well drawn as I hoped it to be, but the story is still good,I would continue it. I'm not that shallow. But the art is just ugly, and off putting. The art is just not my style. I'm pretty flexible, but the art is just bad. Maybe it'll be the greatest art to someone else, but I doubt it.If there was a different artist, I would've continued this series.

JENNIFER WALTERS IS... THE SHE-HULK! A stalwart Avenger, valued member of the FF, savior of the world on more than one occasion, she's also a killer attorney with a pile of degrees and professional respect. A 7-foot-tall drink of cool, emerald water, she's tough enough to knock out Galactus with one punch (possibly?) and has a heart bigger than the moon. But juggling cases and kicking bad guy butt is starting to be a little more complicated than she anticipated. With a new practice, a new paralegal and a mounting number of super villains she's racking up as personal enemies, She Hulk might have bitten off a little more than she can chew... but she just calls that that Tuesday.
