Tim is a long-time resident of San Marino and a strong Scouting supporter. He served as Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 355 and is the proud father of two Eagle Scouts, Ben and Andrew. Tim also served the Board of the Boy Scouts of America, San Gabriel Valley Area Council and was an important part of the Endowment and Investment Committee. im Sloan became President and Chief OperatinJ2I¿FHU of Wells Fargo & Company in November 2015 and is T responsible for the operations of the company’s four main business groups: Community Banking, Consumer Lending, Wealth and Investment Management, and Wholesale Banking In his continuing role as of Wholesale Banking, he oversees Capital Markets, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Asset Backed Finance, Equipment Finance, Corporate Banking, Insurance, International, Investment Banking, and Treasury Management groups, as well as Wells Fargo Capital Finance. Tim serves on the Wells Fargo Operating and Management Committees and is based in San Francisco.

Tim earned his B.A. in economics and history and his M.B.A. LQ¿QDQFHDQGDFFRXQWLQJIURPWKH8QLYHUVLW\RI0LFKLJDQLQ$QQ Arbor.

A long-time resident of San Marino, Tim became involved with the Boy Scouts in 1999 with his sons. He served as Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 355 in San Marino and is now thrilled to be the father of two Eagle Scouts, Ben and Andrew. Tim also served on the Board of the Boy Scouts of America, San Gabriel Valley Area Council and was an important part of the Endowment and Investment Committee.

With a strong commitment to community, Tim serves on the Board of Overseers of the Huntington Library, and is a member of the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business Advisory Board. He is a trustee of Ohio Wesleyan University and the City of Hope. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of California Resources Corporation.

One of Tim’s proudest accomplishments in Scouting was leading two treks at Philmont Scout Ranch, the Boy Scouts of America’s premier High Adventure Base, which challenges Scouts and Venturers with more than 214 square miles of rugged Northern 1HZ0H[LFRZLOGHUQHVV7LPWUXO\XQGHUVWDQGVWKHSRVLWLYHLPSDFW that Scouting has had on his family, his Scout Troop and the youth in his community.

Robert Gates Former Secretary of Defense of the of America President of Boy Scouts of America

Robert Gates is an American statesman, scholar and university president who served as the 22nd Secretary of Defense of the United States from 2006 to 2011. Gates served for 26 years in the Central Intelligence Agency and the National Security Council, and was Director of Central Intelligence Agency under President George H. W. Bush. He is currently the National President of the Boy Scouts of America

Rex Tillerson Chairman, President & CEO of Exxon Mobil Corporation Past President of Boy Scouts of America Rex Tillerson is the Chairman, President, and CEO of Exxon Mobil Corporation. Under Tillerson’s leadership, Exxon acquired XTO Energy. Exxon has tied with Apple Inc. and Google to be one of the top three largest public companies by market value. He has served as the National President of the Boy Scouts of America.

Steve Young National Football League, MVP

Steve Young is a 15 year veteran of the NFL, most notably with the San Francisco 49ers. He was the League’s Most Valuable Player in 1992 and 1994, as well as the MVP of Super Bowl XXIX. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005. Currently, Steve is a partner with the private equity firm Huntsman Gay Global Capital, the founder of the Forever Young Foundation, and an analyst for ESPN’s Monday Night Football. He is a significant supporter of Scouting and addressed BSA’s Annual Meeting in 2011.

Gary Sinise Actor, Patriot & Humanitarian

Oscar nominated for his role in Forrest Gump and star of the CBS show CSI:NY, Gary Sinise is a tireless supporter of our military and veterans. He is involved nationally with the “Wounded Warrior Project”and is the Co-Host of the annual Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation Dinner at the Reagan Library. In 2008, Mr. Sinise was awarded the Presidential Citizen Medal by President George W. Bush.

Colonel John Fer USAF Retired & Former Vietnam POW

Colonel John Fer was a highly decorated pilot in the United States Air Force. He began his rated career as a pilot with the Strategic Air Command flying B-47’s. During the Vietnam War he flew 54 combat missions. On February 4, 1967, he was shot down over North Vietnam and spent more than 6 years as a Prisoner of War where he was imprisoned alongside future U.S. Senator John McCain. Upon repatriation, he served in various staff assignments around the world.

William H. Tilley Chairman and CEO of The Jacmar Companies

William H. Tilley served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of The Jacmar Companies, a holding company that has operations in equity investments, real estate management and restaurant and wholesale food service.

Commander Michael Edwin Thornton USN Retired, Navy Seal, Medal of Honor Recipient Commander Michael Edwin Thornton is a retired United States Navy SEAL and a recipient of the U.S. military’s highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, for his actions in the Vietnam War. He was awarded the medal for saving the life of his senior officer, Lieutenant Thomas R. Norris, who also earned the Medal of Honor in an unrelated incident.

Major Brian Shul USAF Retired, Pilot, SR 71

Major Brian Shul is a Vietnam War-era attack pilot and a retired major in the United States Air Force. He flew 212 combat missions and was shot down near the end of the war. He was so badly burned that he was given next to no chance to live. Surviving, he returned to full flight status, flying the SR-71 Blackbird. Major Brian Shul completed a 20-year career in the Air Force. He has written four books on aviation and runs a photo studio in Marysville, California. 2015 MAJOR DONORS
