Did You Know?

Tennessee sophomore right-hander Ryne Simpson has a knack for throwing two different kinds of strikes. In addition to hurling heat towards home plate, the Chattanooga native displays prowess rolling strikes at the bowling alley. In fact, Simpson was a member of the varsity bowling team during his days at The Baylor School. He helped lead the Raiders to a region championship and a state runner-up finish during his senior year in 2005. Bowling became a TSSAA sanctioned sport in 2001, and the Baylor boys won the state title that same year (before Simpson was on the team). Danny Wiltz, RHP Danny Wiilltz Sophomore, 6-11, 190 33 Miami, Fla. (Gulliver Preparatory)
