Flight Information: November 4, 2018: Arrival to Campo Grande (CGR) before 12:00 noon ​ November 10, 2018: Depart Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, (CGR) anytime. ​

Day 1: 4 November 2018 - Campo Grande / Pantanal (Pousada Aguapé) ​ ​ Meet the group at 13:30 at the Tourist Information balcony (located in the arrival’s lounge) of Campo Grande International Airport (CGR). Shortly thereafter, depart overland for Pousada Aguapé (195km/121 mi. or 2h45min). Upon arrival to the lodge, check-in and join a pre-dinner walking tour to see the amazing birds and wildlife throughout the surrounding areas. Enjoy dinner and overnight at the lodge. (L,D)

Day 2; 5 November 2018 - Pantanal (Pousada Aguapé) Today, early risers can enjoy a sunrise birding walk departing the lodge at 05:30. Breakfast will be served at 07:00. After breakfast, depart for a three hour boat expedition to Aquidauana River and search for birds, mammals and other wildlife. Return to the lodge for lunch and time at leisure. You can work on the birds & mammals list of the trip with your tour leader during this time. In the afternoon, departing the lodge at 15:30, take a jeep safari tour and explore the savannahs and open fields. Return for dinner followed by a one hour night safari in search of nocturnal species. (B,L,D).

Day 3: 6 November 2018 – Pantanal (Pousada Aguapé) Today, bird enthusiasts can join a sunrise birding walk departing the lodge at 05:30. Breakfast will be served at 07:00. After breakfast, join a walking tour exploring riverine forests and savannas in search of birds and wildlife. Return to the lodge for time at leisure with lunch at 12:00. This afternoon, depart the lodge at 15:00 for a 3-hour jeep safari exploring the best areas of the lodge according to your guides knowledge. Make a stop to view the sunset, returning to the lodge in the evening. Enjoy dinner followed by night safari in search of nocturnal species. (B,L,D).

Day 4: 7 November 2018 – Pantanal (Pousada Aguapé / Campo Grande) Birders can opt to join their third sunrise birding walk of the trip, departing the lodge at 05:30. Breakfast will be served at 07:00. This morning, join a three hour boat expedition to the Aquidauana River and search for birds, mammals and general wildlife. Return to the lodge for lunch and check-out. Depart at 13:00 by land transfer to Campo Grande (195km/121 mi. or approximately 2h45min). Arrive to Campo Grande International Airport around 15:45 and transfer to your AdventureNext hotel. (B,L).
