Embracing both history and the growing traditions of America’s Finest City, Bub’s was constructed from using various architectural salvage throughout the West coast, including reclaimed wood, scrap metal and reused brick. Bub’s is a place where locals and visitors alike enjoy one- of-a-kind entertainment and food. Watch the game on our vast array of flat screens or take shots at our in-house basketball court in-between games of shuffleboard and Pac-Man. Relax and sip drinks on San Diego’s only elevated patio or at our signature Diner Bar. Indulge in our famous Lunch Lady Tater Tots or Steaky Steakums while enjoying one of the many craft beers on draft. Born in 1996 as “Another Man’s Stupid Idea of Fun,” Bub’s has evolved into Pacific Beach’s and downtown’s go-to spot for casual food and pure fun.

HOSTED BAR ON CONSUMPTION Up to any amount. Within this hosted bar, the Client may choose any limits of the level of alcohol and if shots will be allowed.

DRINK TICKETS A specific number of drink tickets may be purchased at a flat rate prior to the event to be distributed to guests at the Client’s discretion. Guests can redeem drink tickets for beverages with the package below. Soft drinks will be available to guests at no additional charge.

HOSTED PER PERSON The below bar packages set are a flat rate per guest for the duration of your event and include the selected level liquors (if applicable), imported & domestic beers, house red & white wine and sparkling wines. All packages also include non-alcoholic beverages and bottled water. Note: Shots or doubles are not included in the below packages.

CASH CARRY Allow your guests to purchase their own drinks and start tabs as normal for the event after any hosted bar service ends. A Cash & Carry bar may be used to meet any portion of the event minimum; however, service fees may be required.

FOOD SERVICE From tray-passed appetizers, food stations or family-style options, Bub’s at the Ballpark can provide your guests with multiple food service options. Our menu encompasses All-American favorites such as tater tots, chicken wings, sliders and more. We can also create a custom menu to fit your specific needs. EVENT REMINDERS & GENERAL INFORMATION

CONFIRMATION OF EVENT SPACE Bub’s requires a signed contract and 50% of the total event price as a non-refundable deposit to secure the event space. Deposit schedules and final payment information will be noted in the contract and can be paid in the form of cash, company check, wire transfer or credit card.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE GUARANTEES Confirmation of menu selection and attendance, or “guaranteed headcount,” is due ten (10) days in advance of the event date. After this deadline, attendance counts cannot be reduced; however, increases will be accommodated if possible, depending on time and selected menu. Charges will be based upon the number guaranteed or the number served, whichever is greater.

SERVICE CHARGE AND SALES TAX A 23% service fee will be added to all food and beverage service for the event. The service charge is mandatory and is not a gratuity. This is based on State Regulation 1603 (f). This charge and all prices (including venue rental fees) quoted are subject to the current California state sales tax.

OUTSIDE FOOD AND BEVERAGE With the exception of specialty cakes, no food or beverages of any kind may be brought into Bub’s by event guests. Unless prior arrangement has been made with event staff, Bub’s reserves the right to confiscate food or beverages that are in violation of this policy. All food and beverage provided by Bub’s must be consumed within the time frame of the event. Taking home leftover food or beverages from an event is not permitted.

EVENT STAFF Bub’s staff is committed to providing you first class service. The appropriate allotment of bartenders, servers and attendants will be scheduled to ensure your event is flawless. Should additional staff be requested, labor fees may apply.
