Tour Details and Description

Cycle tour on the route from Colmar to Strasbourg. Discover the famous Alsace vineyards along the Alsace Wine road cycle trail. From Colmar "the Little Venice" to the "Petite France" in Strasbourg (listed on as a UNESCO World Heritage Site).

This bike tour will bring you through the prestigious vineyards on the Alsace wine road cycle trail, offering splendid views over the most beautiful villages of the area. You will be immersed in the delightful ambience of half-timbered houses adorned with geraniums in Ribeauvillé, , , Barr and .

After having a look at the very impressive and medieval château de Haut-Koenigsbourg, on its rocky outcrop, you deserve a glass of typical Alsace wine, full of freshness and elegantly fruity!

These villages, rich in history, have kept all their authenticity and their identity. Just before reaching Sélestat, you will have the opportunity to conquer the château Haut Koenigsbourg. Situated on a hill overlooking the valley, this impressive fortress offers a comprehensive picture of the architecture and way of life in a 15th century château..

Sélestat – Obernai | 38 km Take a look at the Itinerary château de l’Ortenbourg overlooking the vineyards before reaching the pretty village of Dambach-la-ville then Barr and its beautiful flowery square. The Alsace Wine Route continues to the medieval city of Obernai Day 1 with its charming paved streets punctuated with tiny pretty squares. Arrival in Colmar.
