MADISON, Wis. – Now that the University of Minnesota has clinched the Western Collegiate Hockey Association regular season champion- ship for 2012-13 and continued its unprecedented run of consecutive victories, the attention in the women’s WCHA turns to the battle sur- rounding four teams’ quests for the three remaining home-ice berths in the post-season tournament.

All the byes and open weekends are completed. Now it’s a six-game sprint to the finish of the regular season. The four teams behind the unbeaten and untied Gophers in the standings are separated by just two points.
