THAME UNITED HISTORY

Thame United were formed in 1883 making it one of a clause in the tenancy agreement and evicted the club Oxfordshires' oldest clubs. The early years were spent in from Windmill Road. However, shortly thereafter Thame various Oxfordshire Leagues and in 1906, 1909 and 1910 United reached a formal agreement with the new Thame won the Oxfordshire Senior Cup and the Senior owners of Windmill Road that secured £1.7 million to League in 1907,1908, 1910, 1930 and 1931. *** QUESTION TIME ***

You are a newbie to the ASM Stadium, how did you become a fan of the club? Do you come with any other persons? KEVIN - We visit Thomley Hall with my son and he was chosen to be a mascot at the St Neotts game in October. Also I've worked in Thame for 6 years now and been meaning to come along to the ASM for a while. Guess it was fate for us to become Thame United fans. Myself, my Wife and two sons have been coming since then.

What has been your favourite game to date to watch or follow? KEVIN -St Neotts will always be special as My boy Louie was mascot. Also great to see a 6-0 win. Also getting a point against Aylesbury away on boxing day.

What has been the best moment as a Thame United fan? KEVIN - Being there to see Dan West net his 150th goal, and witness such an amazing milestone.

What do you do when not watching Thame United home and away? KEVIN - I've recently got back into my fitness after a few years, so been enjoying training. It's helping me keep up with my two young sons. They are showing an interest in football, so we have a kick about when I'm not working.

Do you support any other football team? Do you have an all-time favourite football player? KEVIN - This last year has renewed my passion for football. Im a Spurs supporter. I used to love Jürgen Klinsmann. He was such an excitng player. I've got a great Teenage memory of seeing him score a diving header at White Hart Lane.

You get a free trip to any football match in the world, which do you choose and why? KEVIN - Got to be a world Cup final. Once in a lifetime experience.

Do you have a favourite player at Thame United FC and why? KEVIN - At the moment it's Ryan Blake. His speed, aggression, and passion, make him very enjoyable to watch.

What are your thoughts on the season so far? KEVIN - On an amazing run. It's looking like we can really finish in a decent place.

Are there any matches coming up you are looking forward to? KEVIN - Aylesbury at Home. Boxing day was a great battle to watch. Would be great to beat them at home.

What for you as a fan would you like to see more of at Thame United? KEVIN - With attendance rising, would be great to see even bigger numbers at the ASM.

What is the best thing about Thame United? KEVIN - Great family atmosphere and how welcome we've felt as new supporters.

Do you have any final comments for our fans and followers? KEVIN - Looking forward to being part of a great club, and being among you guys on this great journey.
