SCHOLARLY AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

 Currently organizing the 2nd Annual Conference of the Canadian Aristotle Society at the Dominican University College (May 13-15, 2020) – postponed, due to Covid- 19.  Organizer of the International Neoplatonic Studies Society at the Dominican University College (June 12-16, 2019) o This was a conference of 80 participants and required full-time attention to everything required in hosting a conference: reservation of rooms, payments, accommodations, special requests, and, now, the publishing of the Proceedings.  Became honorary member of the Czech Republic Aristotelian Society (October, 2017-current)  Founder and President of the Canadian Aristotle Society (October, 2016 - current) o This project requires constant attention to administrative details: reserving classrooms, securing keynote speakers two years in advance according to a theme, editing the Proceedings of each conference, promoting the 2

conference, managing the finances, and yearly requests of SSHRC financial support.  Vice-Dean and Director of Graduate Studies at Dominican University College. (May, 2010- May 2017) o Deliberated with the Dean the acceptance of graduate candidates to the programme in Philosophy o Coordinated with the Dean to organize Ph D, MA, and B.Ph examinations o Helped the Dean structure class schedules o Worked closely with the Dean and VP Academic on promotion of the Faculty of Philosophy o During 2013-17, the Dean was very ill.
