Home to Win Episode Synopses

Episode 1: “Sold” April 24 at 10pm ET/PT House hunting has never been more stressful – or entertaining – as HGTV Canada heavyweights divide and conquer their search for the Home to Win. They cover the city, country and suburbs in search of the perfect property. The competitive spirit kicks in as the stars defend, debate and deliberate over the final choice and ultimately determine which special property will become the Home to Win. With a decision made, the builders and designers descend upon the chosen home as the hammers start to swing on the renovation.

Episode 2: “Books, Baths and Beyond” May 1 at 10pm ET/PT Designer Danielle Bryk and builder Colin Hunter transform a dated home office into a dramatic new library. Builder Rob Evans partners with designer Sam Pynn to create a luxe new look in the master bathroom. Paul Lafrance pops in to stack the deck on the reno action!

Episode 3: “Fit for a King” May 8 at 10pm ET/PT Jr. joins design expert Mia Parres to overhaul the king-size garage into the ultimate man cave while designer Jo Alcorn and builder Dave Kenney decide to go rustic chic in the master bedroom. Canada’s most trusted contractor, Mike Holmes, stops by for some father-son bonding and building.

Episode 4: “The Team Comes Clean” May 15 at 10pm ET/PT More walls fall as designer Sam Pynn and builder Sebastian Clovis tackle the everyday needs of the main level mudroom. Style guru Tommy Smythe teams up with builder Rob Evans to create a wine cellar and a dream laundry space. Super-contractor Bryan Baeumler reports in for reno duty and takes an all-terrain property tour.

Episode 5: “Be Our Guest!” May 22 at 10pm ET/PT Design maven Sarah Baeumler trades in her building partner, Bryan, for builder Kate Campbell. The two join forces on a dreamy, Hamptons-inspired guest bedroom while property pros Danielle Bryk and Carson Arthur create a cozy-yet-cinematic experience in the media room. HGTV Canada heavyweight Scott McGillivray stops by to lend a hand.

Episode 6: “The ‘Bunker’ Games” May 29 at 10pm ET/PT It’s all fun and games as designer Tiffany Pratt and build expert Colin Hunter connect with their inner child to create a playful kids’ bedroom. Builder Sebastian Clovis also taps into his wonder years with interior expert Jo Alcon to craft a whimsical children’s zone in the basement. Bryan Baeumler swings by to call a recess from the reno.

Episode 7: “Kitchen Party” June 5 at 10pm ET/PT HGTV Canada superstar Sarah Richardson and builder Rob Evans design and rebuild the heart of the home: a spectacular dream kitchen. Designer Tommy Smythe and handyman Joey Fletcher put their heads together on the all-important Great Room. Both teams inject a modern, country flair to their spaces as they design and renovate Home to Win’s biggest room transformation yet. Food Network Canada Chef Roger Mooking joins the party to weigh in on a challenging cooking assignment.

Episode 8: “Bathroom Wars” June 12 at 10pm ET/PT It’s a battle of the bathrooms! Builder Mike Holmes Jr. collaborates upstairs with the queen of salvage style Tiffany Pratt while design expert Danielle Bryk and custom craftsman Paul Lafrance look to flush out the competition in the lower-level bathroom reno.

Episode 9: “What’s it Worth?” June 19 at 10pm ET/PT The HGTV Canada Home to Win facelift finishes with a dining room renovation, courtesy of designer Mia Parres and builder Sebastian Clovis. All the stars gather for a revealing look back and tell-all on the dream home renovation. After all of their hard work, the builders and designers find out just how much the Home to Win is now worth.

Episode 10: “Key to the Competition” June 26 at 10pm ET/PT Home to Win introduces the three Canadians competing for the ultimate property renovated and designed by 20 HGTV Canada all-stars. Host Sangita Patel guides them through a series of exhilarating head-to-head challenges to determine who will be presented the keys to the house.
