Jondaryan is a quaint rural township home to the widely loved tourist attraction – The Woolshed at Jondaryan. Built in 1859, it houses Queensland’s oldest operating woolshed as well as a museum (established in 1975) which illustrates the pastoral history of the station and surrounding area. The iconic Jackie Howe Festival held in September each year is a great opportunity to experience The Woolshed in all its glory. The Woolshed is open daily (except on select public holidays) throughout the year. Guided tours are also available upon request.
