Proof of address for VC and Community schools will not be required for traveller families where the address is confirmed by the Traveller Education Service. A foster carer will not be required to supply proof of address for a child placed with them by an LA.

For admission allocation purposes, in most cases the address that will be taken into consideration is the address at which the child is resident at the closing date or an address at which the child will be resident before the start of the new academic year in September 2016, providing the change of address is notified and evidence provided before the exceptional circumstance deadline of 9th February 2016 (see page 12 for details of evidence required).
