Changes are coming to the intersection of Route 116 and June Road. In the next four to six weeks, the Department of Transportation will make the intersection a four- way stop. Right now, there are only stop signs on June Road, but drivers on Route 116 (Titicus Road) do not have to stop. David Parker, of the state DOT, said the signs are ready and the state is waiting to place the pavement markings. Supervisor Warren Lucas said that intersection has seen “too many accidents” and this work has been a long time coming. Expect more details on this story in the coming weeks.
