Reference Petrapole PS Case No. 139 /18 dated 05.07.2018 u/s 51 WLPA 0n 05.07.18 officer and force of CID, WB held raid and arrested 02 accused persons namely (i) Aravind Kumar @ Chunni (40) s/o Hirababu of Village + PS Kurabli, District Monipuri, Uttar Pradesh (ii) Sikranta Halder @ Murari s/o Santosh Halder of Bhabanipore, PO Puraton Bongaon, PS Petrapole, North 24 Parganas and recovered & seized 21 pieces Indian Soft Sheel Turtl from their possession.

b. Reference Uttarpara PS Case No. 520/18 dated 12.07.2018 u/s 366A/367/370/371/120B/34, Sec. 3/4/5/6/7/9 ITP Act & 17 r/w 4 of POCSO Act 2012.

On 11.07.2018 officer and force of CID, West Bengal held raid at the premises of Bishamika Guest House, under Uttarpara PS area and arrested 04 persons namely (i) Sukdeb Das (32) s/o Pulin Das of Pachas Batia, PS Belda, District West Medinipur, (ii) Kalpana Chakraborty (32) w/o Goutam Chakraborty of Joy Krishnabazar, PS Tarakeswar, District Hooghly, (iii) Bibekananda Charan Bera (58) s/o Bhabesh Chandra Bera of Village Talla, PO Heria, PS Khejuri, District East Medinipur, (iv) Abhinash Kanu @ Biki (34) s/o Pachu Prasad Kanu of 7/1 Thakur Das Ghosh Street, PS Belur, District Howrah and 5 (five) V.G were rescued.

c. Reference Bhaktinagar PS Case No. 477/18 dated 13.05.2018 u/s 420/406/413/414/120B IPC r/w Section 7(i)(a)(ii) EC Act. On 13.7.18 officer and force of CID, West Bengal held raid at Bhaktinagar PS area and arrested one person namely Manoranjan Roy (Driver of Vehicle No. WB 73E 5772) s/o Late Birendra Nath Roy of Bhaktinagar Sahid Collony, PS Bhaktinagar, District Jalpaiguri and seized 02 vehicle having registration No. WB 73E 5772, WB 23A 6320 loaded with 12000 liters kerosin oil from his possession. d. Reference Banshihari PS Case No. 79/18 dated 30.05.18 u/s 420/467/468/471/120BIPC. 13.06.2018 officer and force of CID, West Bengal held raid and arrested one person namely Rabi Chakraborty (43) s/o Netai Chakraborty of Master Colony, PS Gangarampur, District Dakshin Dinajpur A/P 4/2E Dharmatala Road, PS Kasba, Kolkata- 42 and seized Four Wheeler Vehicle bearing No. WB 06L 2110 , Rs. 50,000/- and some intimating documents from his possession. e. Reference Naxalbari PS Case No. 105/18 dated 7.7.2018 u/s 120B/121/121A/153/505(i) (b)(c) IPC. On 7.07.2018 officer and force of CID, West Bengal held raid at Naxalbari PS area and arrested 04 (Four) persons namely (i) Nirmal Roy (30) s/o Harish Chandra Roy of Bhangoduli, PO Agamoni, Assam, (ii) Kandarpa Das (23) s/o Deben Das of Bhagapur, PO + PS Damurpur, District Boxa, Assam, (iii) Ratan Adhikary (28) s/o Late Jogeshwar Adhikary of Village + PO North Khagrabari, PS Pundibari, District Coochbehar and (iv) Dipi Prasad Roy (18) s/o Madhab Chandra Roy of Netajipara, Bindaguri, PS Dhupguri, District Jalpaiguri who were assembled for organised crime.

f. Reference Baishnabnagar PS Case No. 390/2018 dated 22.07.2018 u/s 489B/489C/120B IPC. On 18.07.20l8 officer and force of CID, West Bengal based on a secreat information and held raid at Baishnabnagar PS area and arrested 2 (two) persons namely (i) Maglu Sk (50) s/o Late Ekbal Sk of Gopal Nagar, PS Kaliachak, District Malda and (ii) Biswajit Mondal s/o Srikanta Mondal of Jainpur, Rajarhat, PS Baishnabnagar, District Malda and seized Rs. 7,000000/- ( Rs. 2000/- x 350 pieces) of FICN from their possession.

g. Reference Dhupguri PS Case No. 252/2018 dated 27.07.2018 u/s 411/413/414/467/468/471 /474/120B IPC On 28.07.20l8 officer and force of CID, West Bengal conducted raid under Dhupguri PS area with the assistance of Dhupguri PS officer and force and arrested 4 (four) persons namely (i) Sanawar Mohamad (53) s/o Late Abdul Rahaman of Pabisahadatpur, Tronica City, District Gajiabad, U.P, (ii) Mansaf Mohamad (36) s/o Late Md Hanif of do, (iii) Dulal Sarkar (35) s/o Suresh Chandra Sarkar of Gobindapally word No. 15, PS Dhupguri, District Jalpaiguri and (iv) Kabir Hossain (30) s/o Faizal Rahaman of Baragharia, PS Dhupguri, District Jalpaiguri. The accused persons in association with their other members of racket have been purchasing and collecting stolen vehicles from different places of Uttar Pradesh, Hariyanna, Rajasthan, Nagalend from different associates of their racket with forged/colour Xeroxed documents and they have been selling those vehicles to various customers altering new Papers, converting the number plates and tempering engine and chases numbers of those stolen vehicles.
