2017 TCR EUROPEAN TROPHY Bullet Points
FOREWORD
WSC Ltd, promoter of the TCR International Series, organizes the 2017 TCR European Trophy reserved for TCR cars.
1) EVENT
The 2017 TCR European Trophy is made up of one single event that will be held on 29th October 2017 at Adria Raceway, Italy. In order to be eligible for competing in the 2017 TCR European Trophy, competitors must take part in the Qualifying Events.
2) QUALIFYING EVENTS:
Competitors may qualify for the 2017 TCR European Trophy by:
- Entering full season in one of the following TCR National/Regional Series or Championships in Europe: TCR Baltic, TCR Benelux, TCR Germany, TCR Ibérico, TCR Italy, TCR Portugal, TCR Russia, TCR Scandinavia, TCR Spain, 24h Series, 24H TCE Series, VLN (the official event results will certify the entries)
- Entering in a minimum of four European events of the 2017 TCR International Series among those listed here below: Spa-Francorchamps (6th May), TBA (28th May), Salzburgring (11th June), Hungaroring (2nd July), Oschersleben (9th July) A special total entry fee for taking part in all the five European events of the 2017 TCR International Series has been set at €10,000 euro; this fee is only reserved for the Competitors entering in the 2017 TCR European Trophy.
Point scoring system of the Qualifying Events: 5 points will be allocated to the full season competitors of the 2017 TCR National/Regional Series or Championships aforesaid. 1 point per event will be allocated to the competitors taking part in the European events of the 2017 TCR International Series.
3) SPORTING REGULATIONS
The Sporting Regulations for the 2017 TCR European Trophy final event in Adria will be published by 15th February 2017. The Sporting Regulations and formats of the Qualifying Events remain those of the relevant Series or Championships, including the use of the relevant control tyres.
4) LICENCES
The FIA ‘C’ International Driver’s licence is required to take part in the 2017 TCR European Trophy final event in Adria.
5) ENTRY FEE
Entries will open on 1st March 2017. The entry fee for the 2017 TCR Europe Trophy final event in Adria is set at € 4,000 per car.
6) FORMAT
The format of the 2017 TCR Europe Trophy final event in Adria will be similar to that of the TCR International Series, with the possible introduction of Qualifying Races depending on the number of cars entered.
7) POINT SCORING SYSTEM
Drivers and Teams taking part in the 2017 TCR Europe Trophy final event will score points according to the following scales:

8) AWARDS
The 2017 TCR Europe Trophies will be awarded to the first three drivers and to the first team classified in the final classification.
9) PRIZES
The first three drivers classified in the final classification will be awarded with a road car of the brand they represented during the 2017 TCR Europe Trophy final event.
