BlueJackets Singing the Blues - Kitsap has had a tough life in the . Their first season in 2005 they finished seventh in a 7-team league and the following year fourth in an 8-team league. The WCL then went to divisions where they were 2nd of 4 in 2007, 3/4 2008, 4/4 2009, 4/5 2010, 4/5 2011, 5/5 2012, 6/6 2013, 4/4 2014 and are 4/4 currently. - Of the eight longest WCL losing streaks, the BlueJackets own half of them. They have had negative strings of 13, 11, 10 and 10.

Bremerton’s Minor League History The current summer collegiate team got their nickname from the Bremerton Bluejackets who were a Class B minor league team in the Western International League for four seasons from 1946 to ‘49. The Bluejackets did well in the 8-team circuit the first three years finishing third, third and second. Their final season they dropped to eighth. The Wenatchee Chiefs were also members of the WIL during that time.
