NU SKIN ENTERPRISES ANNOUNCES NEW CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER Ashok Pahwa Brings 25 Years of Direct Selling and Consumer Marketing Experience to Company

PROVO, Utah — May 29, 2008 — today announced the appointment of Ashok Pahwa as the company’s chief marketing officer (CMO). A veteran of the direct selling industry, Pahwa offers 25 years of strategic leadership experience in global marketing.

Pahwa comes to Nu Skin with significant experience in consumer products and direct sales. He served as vice president of new business development at Avon Products. Among other responsibilities, he was responsible for Avon’s wellness business and successfully led the growth of the Avon.com consumer business into the largest online beauty site in the U.S.

Prior to his work at Avon, Pahwa spent 10 years at where he served in various management roles, including president of the company’s e-business division, and senior vice president of global marketing and sales promotions. In these roles, he helped shape and disseminate an effective brand strategy with global application that led to several award-winning and successful

Pahwa also spent 10 years with Publicis/Bloom, part of one of the world’s largest communications groups. He worked as a senior vice president with well-known consumer including , Nestle and GlaxoSmithKline. Prior to his work with Publicis, Pahwa also worked with Ogilvy & Mather in Bombay, India and the packaged tea and coffee division of Unilever in India.

Most recently, Pahwa served as vice president of global marketing and sales for the Wall Street Institute (WSI), a portfolio company of the private equity firm, The Carlyle Group. With operations in more than 35 countries, WSI is one of the world’s largest English teaching companies for adults. Pahwa earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Delhi, a master’s in management studies from the University of Bombay and a master’s of business administration from Texas Tech University.
