Additional Information Bhavesh Jain, MSc, is an expert in health financing, health systems strengthening, and health policy development. Bhavesh has 15 years of national and international experience across a wide spectrum of organizations, including academics, subnational and national governments, bilateral and multilateral partners and private sector. He has long-term experience working in the Asia region in India and Cambodia, and short-term work experience in , Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania and . He has been contributing to the domestic resource mobilization, development and costing of National Health and HIV Strategies. He contributed and supported the National AIDS Authority, Cambodia in getting Prime Ministers endorsement to six policy measures to increase domestic financing for HIV through increased public financing for ARV and expanding coverage of people living with HIV in health financing program. He was also Panelist in Prince Mahidol Award Conference 2020, where he shared Cambodia success and experiences in its Journey to Self-Reliance (J2SR) of HIV at Parallel Session on "Health Financing Transitions: The Role of Development Assistance on the Road to Sustainability" and in a Satellite Session on the Role of the Private Sector in Achieving Universal Health Coverage. His experience also covers knowledge exchange, designing and implementing mass rural health insurance programs, and undertaking National Health Accounts. His experience focused on building capacity of government through policy dialogue, communications and interactions with counterparts, country stakeholders and development partners. He has extensive experience working program funded by USAID, World Bank and WHO. He is the founding member of the Indian Health Economics and Policy Association.
