Striking up relationships with a local young punk Marcus (Jack Kilmer) and her loner neighbor Hank (Dylan McDermott), she quickly becomes a hot topic of local gossip. But her true intentions for arriving in town are far more sinister when her dark past comes to light. ABOUT THE CAST: SOPHIE TURNER (“JOSIE”) Having trained from a very early age at the Playbox Theatre Company, Sophie’s breakthrough role was as ‘Sansa Stark’, the eldest daughter of House Stark in the hugely successful Golden Globe, SAG and EMMY award winning series GAME OF THRONES based on the books by George RR Martin. In 2013, Sophie made her feature film debut in the lead role of ANOTHER ME from Fox International, directed by Isobel Coixet (ELEGY, PARIS JE T’AIME). For television, Sophie was seen in the BBC2, THE THIRTEENTH TALE, a chilling ghost story that examines family tragedy, Sophie played Adeline March opposite Vanessa Redgrave, Olivia Colman, Antonia Clarke and Robert Pugh. In 2015, Sophie starred in BARELY LETHAL, alongside Jessica Alba, Samuel L. Jackson and Hailee Steinfield. Directed by Kyle Newman, the film centers on a 16 year-old assassin who fakes her own death in pursuit of a ‘normal’ adolescence. Sophie plays an undercover agent who enrolls in high school to help capture the teen. In 2016, Sophie starred as mutant Phoenix ‘Jean Grey’ in Bryan Singer’s X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, alongside Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy. The most powerful character of the X-Men, her powers are telepathy, telekinesis and mind control. She will be reprising the role of Jean Grey in the hotly new anticipated DARK PHOENIX out in 2018. Sophie most recently starred in her sixth series of GAME OF THRONES, this season was arguably Sansa’s biggest season so far with her character overcoming obstacles and facing her enemies, making it one of the most talked about storylines of the series, GAME OF THRONES series seven returns this July. In 2018, Sophie will lead in independent film JOSIE alongside Dylan McDermott, about a solitary man in a Florida town who develops a questionable relationship with a recently transplanted high school student named Josie (played by Sophie). Sophie has most recently been announced to star in romantic film TIME FREAK alongside Asa Butterfield, it’s the directorial debut of Andrew Bowler and is inspired by the Oscar-nominated short of the same name. The film follows a heartbroken physics student (Butterfield) who builds a time machine when his girlfriend Debbie (Turner) breaks up with him. Most recently she has been announced as the lead in X- MEN: DARK PHOENIX, reprising her role as mutant Phoenix ‘Jean Grey’, she will joined by Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Chastain, Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy. DYLAN McDERMOTT (“HANK”) A Golden Globe-winner and Emmy nominee, Dylan McDermott has proven his talent in film, television, and theater. McDermott can currently be seen in Kevin Williamson’s STALKER on CBS. He stars opposite Maggie Q as Detective Jack Larsen, of the Threat Assessment Unit in the LAPD. The drama series follows the stories of stalker victims. McDermott's other television credits include Jerry Bruckheimer’s limited series, HOSTAGES on CBS opposite Toni Collette, Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk's FX drama AMERICAN HORROR STORY, the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced TNT drama DARK BLUE, TNT's dramatic limited series THE GRID opposite Julianna Margulies, and David E. Kelley's Emmy Award-winning series THE PRACTICE, which earned him an Emmy nomination, two Golden Globe nominations, and a Golden Globe award. Upcoming, McDermott will be seen on the big screen starring opposite Milla Jovovich in SURVIVOR, from producers Charles and Irwin Winkler, alongside Emma Thompson, Pierce Brosnan, and Angela Bassett. JACK KILMER (“MARCUS”) Jack Kilmer is an exciting young actor who has received considerable attention since his 2013 debut in Gia Coppola’s PALO ALTO. Through his work, Jack captured the attention of Yves Saint Laurent fashion director Hedi Slimane, and now has a deal with the fashion house. Jack recently shot Vice Films' LORDS OF CHAOS opposite Emory Cohen and Skrillex. He will be seen next in the indie features JOSIE (opposite Dylan McDermott and Sophie Turner) and WOODSHOCK, directed by Rodarte designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy.
