Semi-Annual Review of OMX Nordic 40 Index
Stockholm,December7,2009-TheNASDAQOMXGroup,Inc.(NASDAQ:NDAQ)announces todaytheresultsofthesemi-annualreviewoftheOMXNordic40index,(NASDAQ OMXStockholm:OMXN40),whichwillbecomeeffectiveonDecember21,2009. BolidenAB(BOL),FLSmidth&Co.(FLS)andDSV(DSV)willbeaddedtotheindex. Asaresultofthereview,thefollowingshareswillberemovedfromtheOMXN40 index:SecuritasABser.B(SECUB),NovozymesB(NZYMB)andSCANIAABser.B (SCVB). OMXN40consistsofthe40mostliquidshareslistedontheNASDAQOMXNordic exchanges,whichmakesithighlysuitableasunderlyingforstructuredproducts andderivativestrading.TheOMXN40indexisevaluatedonasemi-annualbasisin JuneandDecember.Thenewindexportfoliobecomeseffectivethefirsttrading dayafterexpirationofthederivativecontractsinJuneandDecember.
