SCREEN STARS SHOW UP TO HCS BOOK LAUNCH

Two stars of stage and screen caused quite a stir in Cathedral School library, when they made an impromptu visit to a recent school event. Members of the School’s art and book clubs were shocked to see film star Imelda Staunton and her husband Jim Carter walk in to their book launch earlier. The pair had been in Hereford for a charity lunch when HCS librarian Mrs Adamson spotted them and asked them to come along. The event was to launch the story book created by HCS pupils. The project had been overseen by local illustrator Iain Welch. Harry Potter star Staunton, and Downton Abbey actor Carter, showed great interest in the project and were happy to sign autographs.
