Aidan O’Brien trained the winners of two domestic Classics but he also won two Classic races in Great Britain and was arguably unlucky not to win a third with BONDI BEACH (IRE)(118) being thrown out on appeal having been awarded the Ladbrokes St Leger (G1) in the Stewards Room on the day of the race at Doncaster – worldwide, he trained a total of 17 Group 1 winners in 2015.
