DTM DTM | Baseline Dashboard - Round XVI Nigeria IOM OIM May 2017

IOM manages the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) in Nigeria and other countries round the world to support humanitarian communities with data on displacement and mobility. This information management product determines the status, locations, and needs of people displaced by the ongoing con ict in Northeast Nigeria. As of April 30, 2017, the 3,119,225 DTM has identied 1,884,331 IDPs (339,362 households) across Adamawa, , Borno, Gombe, Taraba, and Yobe states. IDPs and Returnees were This represents an increase from 1,832,743 individuals in Round XV, re ecting the continuing trend of IDPs returning to covered by DTM Round XVI their Local Government Areas, particularly in Borno state. Although, most of these IDPs still retain their status because they could not return to their actual places of abode. Assessments were carried out from the 3rd of April -12th of April 2017.
