Bee-ing The Best On Friday, January 14, 2011, the Junior Women’s Club of Hasbrouck Heights held its 18th Annual Spelling Bee at Kiefer Auditorium in the Hasbrouck Heights Jr./Sr. High School. Twenty-nine top spellers from the 4th and 5th Grade classes of Corpus Christi, Euclid and Lincoln Schools competed to be the best. Awards were given to the top six spellers. First Place: Isabella Impalli, Fifth Grade – Corpus Christi, Second Place: Bharadwaj Chirravuri, Fifth Grade - Lincoln School, Third Place: Shalom Dukhande, Fifth Grade – Euclid School. The fi rst, second and third place winners each received book store gift cards. The top three winners will be representing Hasbrouck Heights at the Junior Women’s Club Northern NJ Regional Spelling Bee to be held at West Morris High School in Mendham, NJ on February 27, 2011 at 2 p.m. Judges were Assemblywoman Connie Wagner (38th District), Councilwoman Sonya Buckman, Hasbrouck Heights, and Mimi Hui, Director, Hasb- rouck Heights Library.
