29 Apr. Breakfast. This morning you will meet your driver/guide and depart for Galway. Enjoy the best of Co. Clare some of the most spectacular sites in Ireland. Enroute you will visit Clonmacnoise Monastery founded in 544 AD. Then drive onto the , one of Ireland’s top visitor attractions, soaring 214m high and ranging for 8km over the Atlantic Ocean. Our next visit will be to an area of unusual geological formations, which has lain unspoiled since The Ice Age. Also, located here are the Neolithic tombs at Poulnabrone, which are ancient burial sites. Enjoy some leisure time in Galway City upon your arrival before checking into your hotel just outside the city. Overnight Galway.

30 Apr. Breakfast. Today explore Counties Mayo and Galway to experience the beautiful sites via the Connemara Loop. Stops along the journey include Clifden, Kylemore Abbey and Gardens, Connemara National Park, Killary Fjord, Alcock and Brown Exhibit dedicated to the first Trans- Atlantic Flight and a visit to Roundstone. Late afternoon return to Galway. Dinner in the unique and very special dinner in the Pullman Restaurant (Four pristine condition Orient Express Carriages) at Glenlo Abbey. Overnight Galway.

1 May Breakfast. This morning our journey to Killarney. A photo stop is planned at , then on to a visit to Castle and Folk Park. The Folk Park is a recreation of a 19th century Irish Village. Our next visit will be to King John’s Castle and Ireland’s first mint. The castle dates back to 1200 and is located in . It is one of the best-preserved Norman Castles in Europe. Then on to Adare Village and Heritage Center in County Limerick. Adare is known as one of the prettiest towns in Ireland. We continue to Killarney and check into our hotel. Overnight Killarney.

2 May Breakfast. Today we will drive the Dingle Peninsula and Slea Head. The peninsula has been inhabited for almost 6,000 years. You will stop at Gallarus oratory a 12th century Rock Church and Slea Head promontory the westernmost point of Ireland. Along the route we will stop to visit the Ancient Beehive Tombs that are over 4000 years old. Our lunch stop (on your own) will be in the town of Dingle. You will have free time to explore picturesque little town. You will later visit the Blasket Islands Visitor’s Center and view the islands known as the “Sleeping Giant”. Return to Killarney for a free evening in Killarney, possibly visit a local restaurant or Pub. Overnight Killarney.

3 May Breakfast. This morning you will have free time in Killarney to explore this beautiful little city. Late morning departure for . In Kinsale you will visit the Desmond Wine Museum and learn about the wine connections between Ireland and France. En route to Kinsale you a visit is planned to the picturesque seaside village of Glengarriff. You will visit Garnish Island an island in Glengarriff Bay with ornate Italian Gardens. The gardens were created in the early 1900’s and enjoy a microclimate with mild year-round conditions. After your visit, you will continue to Kinsale. Late afternoon and evening free in Kinsale. 4 May Breakfast. Today we will drive to Cork and visit some of the best attractions that the County has to offer. When arriving in Cork you will have an overview by your guide of the city. A visit the famous 17th Century English Market. This indoor market has a very interesting history and has operated for over 200 years. Our next stop will be in Cobh. Cobh is the single most important port of emigration in Irish history and a visit here will also give you the opportunity to visit Heritage Centre which includes The Titanic Trail. Then on to a visit to . You will have the opportunity to kiss the ! Time has been allotted for shopping at the Blarney Woolen Mills. A visit to Charlesfort Bastion Fort is also planned. 5 May Breakfast. Farwell to Kinsale. We travel to Kilkenny with a brief photos top en route at the . We will spend the rest of the day exploring the Kilkenny area. A visit is planned to the . The castle is the signature symbol of the Medieval city. Then on to Jerpoint Abbey, a Cistercian abbey, founded in the second half of the 12th century. You will visit Kilkenny Way to learn about Hurling. A popular field sport in Ireland. The day will conclude with a visit to Smithwick’s Brewery for a tour and a taste of the Smithwick’s Ale. 6 May Breakfast. This morning we begin our journey back to Dublin via Glendalough. Enroute we will drive through the beautiful Wicklow Mountains and National Park. Upon arrival in Dublin you will have a panoramic driving tour of the city highlighting several key attractions including Phoenix Park and Kilmainham Gaol an integral attraction relative to the catalyst of Irish independence. 7 May Breakfast. Today enjoy the day exploring Ireland’s Capital City Dublin. Visit Trinity College, Ireland’s most famous University, and explore it’s four-hundred-year-old heritage including The Book of Kells which was written around 800AD. A visit to the Guinness Storehouse will give you the opportunity to sample ‘The Black Stuff’ - one of Ireland’s most famous exports and nearby you will also visit .
