Epidemiological and geographical characteristics of the most frequent cancers in women in the wilaya of BATNA () from 2007 to 2011

(0MS) OBJECTIVES To establish an epidemiological profile of the most frequent cancers in women in the wilaya of Batna from 2007 to 2011. Demonstrate the geographical distribution of the most frequent cancers in women in the wilaya of Batna from 2007 to 2011. MATERIALS AND METHOD : Descriptive, retrospective study based on the analysis of data collected from the Wilaya of Batnatumour register from 01 January 2007 to 31 December 2011 in the Wilaya of Batna. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION 1990 cases of cancer any localization that occurred in women during 2007-2011 in the wilaya of Batna, The most frequent cancer remains breast cancer (27.53%), followed by genital cancers (9.54), which is consistent with the flap register (2009-2012) and other international data. The standardized incidence has increased significantly from 1.5 in 2007 to 3.8 in 2011, The average age of onset of cancer is 52.30 years +/- 0.43, with a 50-year mode and extremes ranging from 11 to 98 years of age. The average age of diagnosis is lower than the average age in the Western literature before 67 years of age (WHO 2012 statistics). The study of the most frequent Kcs in women according to their spatial dimension shows geo- graphical variations, the analysis of these maps of crude incidence rates indicates areas of high incidence for: -kC of the breast: , Arris and . -thyroid kC: , and Arris -kC of the colon and rectum: , Arris and Ichmoul
