Battle of The Bridges - Free The Square, Battle of the Bridges is an endurance course like no other! In conjunction with the Defence Force, local secondary schools compete to design and build a ‘bridge’ to cross a variety of obstacles in a race to the finish line. The Comedy Hub Presents: Stand Up for Peace Globe Theatre, 312 Main St, Palmerston North Stand Up against racism, intolerance and hate. Stand Up for Peace. New Zealand's comedy community unites to honour and raise funds for the victims of the March 15th terrorist attack. With shows happening simultaneously throughout the country on Wednesday 10 April, each show will feature a line up of top NZ comics doing their bit to show solidarity with Christchurch and Aotearoa's Muslim community. This laugh out loud musical tells the timeless story of a bright-eyed college grad named Princeton. When he arrives in New York City with big dreams and a tiny bank account, he must move into a shabby apartment all the way out on Avenue Q. Glen Oroua Friends of The School Trail Ride McKelvie Farm Tangimoana Road, Palmerston North This trail ride will be covering about 27km over rolling sand country and through forest and farmland. Two kid's loops also. This is a fundraiser for the local school. Registrations open 9:00am with rider's briefing at 9.45am and riding from 10:00am-2.30pm.
