TERRY SEABROOK QUINTET – MUSICIAN BIOGRAPHIES

Terry Seabrook is known as the leader/pianist of top UK Latin Band Cubana Bop as well Milestones, Triversion and The TS Quintet. Terry also runs the Monday jazz sessions at The Snowdrop in Lewes.

He studied music at Sussex University & Eastman School of Music in NY. His performing career started in 1985 touring Europe and the Middle East with US Jazz singer .

He composes for his jazz projects and has written for TV. He has contributed pieces to the Associated Board’s Jazz Grades for piano and Trinity- Rock Schools graded piano syllabus.

Andy Panayi is one of the best exponents of the Jazz Flute and Saxophone with a wide range of experience in the many styles of the genre. He has worked with many stars in the music business from Jessie Norman to Cleo Laine, to Wynton Marsalis, Phil Woods to John Dankworth; the list goes on and on.

Graeme Flowers (trumpet) has performed with Quincy Jones, Rumer, Michael Buble, The Brand New Heavies, The James Taylor Quartet, Jamie Cullum, Charlotte Church, Carleen Anderson, Mica and Kyle Eastwood. He has played at all the major jazz festivals and jazz clubs in America, Japan, Europe, Indonesia and South Africa. Graeme is also the long- time featured trumpet player in Terry Seabrook’s groups Cubana Bop and Milestones.

Bass player Simon Thorpe plays in many bands across the jazz spectrum. And leads several bands, including improPHONICS, Jivin' Miss Daisy and The Simon Thorpe Octet. His double bass style is strong and melodic, and has featured on numerous CDs with artists such as Stacey Kent, Alan Barnes, Bobby Wellins and Martin Speake. One of the UK's most popular bass players.

Brighton native, drummer Peter Hill’s busy schedule this past year included a performance by his group the Ornate Quartet at the Love supreme jazz festival, in which they explored the music of Ornette Coleman.
