We started our tour- naments in February and the girls and boys were competing very hard in their individual categories. Everyone played to the best of their abilities and they truly gave it their all. Monasteroris National School We are all settled back after the Easter holidays and look forward to a busy Summer term with lots of activities planned. Our Easter Bonnet Parade was a brilliant event. All the children made an Easter Bonnet and we had a parade with everyone modelling their ‘Bonnets’. The creativity was just brilliant, and all so colourful. Well done everyone. Tag Rugby with a coach from Leinster Rugby has now finished. The boys and girls from Mrs Beattie’s room really enjoyed learning the skills of tag rug- by. We had a Drums workshop/presentation recently. This was a very exciting morning with everyone having a go at playing the African Drums. Dance classes take place each Wednesday for all pupils. This is very popular with everybody learning new moves! ‘Fin the Potter’ continues his pottery classes each week. Some really exciting creations have been made. Well done everyone. The pupils from 4th, 5th and 6th clas- ses went on a trip to the Wind Farm in Mount Lucas. This was a very interesting trip with lots of information about the Wind Farm. The weather was lovely and we got to have a walk around a wind turbine.
