A: Freshford Kilkenny; I played for Faughs from 1970 to 1977 Q: Do you prefer managing a team or playing for Faughs? A: Playing for Faughs Q: How many managers were managing your team while you were playing for Faughs? A: 3 Q:Who was your favourite? A: Mick Clayton Q: What advice would you give a younger player? A: Practice, practice, practice. Take a hurl in your hand every day even if it is only for 5 minutes Q: How did you master the tackle? Q: Was the clubhouse there when you were playing? A: No, it was built in 1998. We trained in the Phoenix Park Q: What player did you admire the most? A: Ollie Walsh, Kilkenny Q: Who was your favourite player who wasn’t from Kilkenny? A: Phil Wilson , Wexford, Tom Cheasty , Waterford and Seannie Mac Carthy , Cork. Q: Do you think the Faughs camogie or hurling senior team will win a county final in the next 10 years and which will win win it first? A: I think the camogie will - I say that as I manage them Q: Did you win a county final with Faughs? A:Yes,1970, 1972 and 1973 Q: Who was your favourite teammate? A: I think the hurlers will and I say that because the camogie girls have to climb a division first Q: Did you win a county final with faughs?
