The Humber Teaching School is well placed to respond to the challenges for school improvement. The potential we have to provide outstanding experience for colleagues working in the education profession is in its widest sense, which gives us the opportunity to make a significant contribution to this initiative. Our ambition for The Teaching School is that it will enable us to accelerate the improvement in pupil outcomes through developing the workforce and leading system wide change for school improvement.

75 A REGION UNITED...OVER 500,000 CHILDREN, 2500 SCHOOLS & 90 TEACHING SCHOOLS CREATING ONE LEGACY k r o Y Great teaching changes lives - Ebor is a mixed trust, comprising good and better schools and schools receiving support. We work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes we can for our children and young people.

Ebor Teaching Schools Alliance

At the heart of the Ebor Hope Teaching Schools Alliance are two teaching schools - Manor Church of England Academy, York (Hope Learning Trust, York) and Robert Wilkinson Primary Academy (Ebor Academy Trust). Both schools are recognised by the National College as outstanding practitioners in teaching and learning but both also have key characteristics that make them unique. Ebor and Hope are therefore able to offer a plethora of support in both primary and secondary settings. As MATs have developed, there has been a realisation that renewed and strengthened partnerships are the best way to support schools across the region. Our TSA has three key aims: To develop the highest quality entrants into the teaching profession. To provide high quality accredited leadership development and support, to empower teachers to have maximum impact on pupils. To provide high quality school to school support and challenge that will transform provision so that all young people have a great education.

Values, care and achievement lived into being to establish educational excellence through collaborative partnerships

Pathfinder Teaching School Alliance

The Pathfinder Teaching School Alliance was designated in April 2014. Our overarching ethos as a Teaching School is to improve the educational provision for pupils and staff across York, the East Riding and North Yorkshire. We are based at Archbishop Holgate’s School in York but our partnership stretches well into the East Riding and North Yorkshire. Pathfinder has been successfully running a School Direct programme for the past four years (198 teachers trained) with many of our trainees securing posts in our partnership schools. In addition to our ITT Programme, we also have a comprehensive professional development offer, which can be accessed by all schools in the region (145 courses per year accessed by 2000 delegates per year). As well as offering professional development and training we have a number of SLEs who can offer bespoke training and support to schools at all levels.
