The first time the customer opens the updated app, a new onboarding screen will inform them that the digital proof of insurance is now available. When they click Next, a short tutorial will walk them through the installation process of the digital proof of insurance in their widget or Apple Wallet. If the insured decides to skip the tutorial, they will also be able to find it under Documents / Proof of insurance.

What is a widget? A widget provides quick access to information from your favourite apps. See the How-to Guides for Android and iOS for more information on how to install the widget for the digital proof of insurance.
