Leeds Metropolitan University Partnership Bursary

Academic Year 2013-14

Leeds Metropolitan University encourages applications from students wishing to progress from partner schools and colleges. This year we have introduced our Partnership Bursary which is targeted at students who enrol from Associate Schools and Partner Colleges, who indicate we are their firm choice institution via the UCAS admissions process.

Details

The bursary is a cash payment of £300 in the first year of study only, for the purchase of books and learning materials. The payment will be made to eligible students in February 2014.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the bursary you must;

 Have studied full-time at an Associate School or Partner College in the 2012/13 academic year. (see List Below)  Have applied for a full-time undergraduate course funded by the HEFCE, NHS or TDA.  Have made Leeds Metropolitan University your firm choice of institution on the UCAS application system.  Be registered and enrolled on year one of the course in the 2013-14 academic year.  Have applied for, and qualified for student support under the current Education (Student Support Regulations) and consented to share financial information with the University.

Application

You do not need to make an application for this bursary as your eligibility will be confirmed by the University using UCAS and SLC application data. You will be notified of eligibility from September 2013 and payment will be made in February 2014 via your SLC account if you are still enrolled on your course.

General

If you are in receipt of a Partnership Bursary you may be eligible to receive any other scholarships, bursaries or discounts offered by Leeds Metropolitan University.

The payment is administered by the Student Loan Company and the University shall not be liable for any delay or error in relation to the payment.
