Wheareas, the area known as High Court of State, in the limits of Police Station, together with its surrounding roads and areas including the following roads, are busy places due to functioning of the High Court of Telangana State causing movements of litigants and Advocates to and from the premises of High Court of Telangana State.

1) On the Northern side of the High Court Building : City College Junction to Nayapul Road. 2) On the Southern side of the High Court Building : Madina Circle to City College Road and its (3) by lanes leading to Ghansi Bazar and other (3) by lanes leading to Patel Market/Ricobgunj. 3) Nayapul – Madina Circle – High Court Road 4) Pathargatti – Madina Circle – High Court Road 5) Muslim Jung Bridge Circle to High Court Road 6) Puranapul – PTO – City College X- Road – High Court Road 7) Moosa Bowli – Mehandi – City College X- Road – High Court Road.

2. And whereas, reports have been received indicating that such conditions now exist that unrestricted holding of public meetings, processions/ demonstrations, etc. in the area is likely to cause obstruction, annoyance or injury to any person lawfully employed, or danger to human life, health or safety or disturbance of the public tranquility or a riot or an affray and inconvenience in the smooth functioning of the Hon’ble High Court of Telangana State and disturbance to the litigants and Advocates.

3. And whereas, it is considered necessary to take speedy measures in this behalf to prevent danger to human life, health or safety or for preventing a riot or any affray and disturbance of public tranquility.

4. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me under Section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 and under Sec. 22 of Hyderabad City Police Act, 1348 Fasli, I, Anjani Kumar,IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, do hereby make this written order and notify the same to the general public prohibiting the following matters :-

i) the holding of any public meeting; ii) assembly of five or more persons; iii) carrying of fire-arms, banners, placards, lathis, spears, swords, sticks, bricksbats, etc.; iv) shouting of slogans; v) making of speeches, etc.; vi) processions and demonstrations; and vii) Picketing or dharnas in any public place within the area specified in the schedule and sketch map appended to this order without a written permission.

5. As the order cannot be served practicably to each individual on all concerned, the order is hereby passed ex-parte and the same is published for the information of public through Press and by affixing copies of this order on the notice boards of the offices of all the D.Cs.P., Addl.DCsP., A.Cs.P., all Police Stations concerned and other places for conveying the information to the general public.

6. Religious functions/ rallies/ public meeting, etc. in the above specified areas can be held with prior written permission from the Dy.Commissioner of Police, South Zone, Hyderabad well in advance and this order shall not apply to processions which have the requisite permission of the concerned Zonal Dy.Commissioner of Police/Divisional Asst.Commissioner of Police.

7. This order shall come into force with effect from 0600 hours on 29.06.2019 and shall remain in force for a period of two months i.e. upto 0600 hours on 27.8.2019 (both days inclusive) unless withdrawn earlier.

8. Any person violating this order shall be liable for punishment under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code and as per the provisions of Hyderabad City Police Act, 1348 Fasli.

ORGANIZED CRICKET BETTING RACKET BUSTED - (03) HELD On credible information the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone Team in joint operation with the local Police conducted simultaneous raids in the limits of Charminar & PS and busted organized Cricket betting rackets. Apprehended (03) Cricket bookies by name 1)Ashish Sharma 2) Sandeep Mishra & 3) Punna Jithender who are organizing and collecting cricket betting amount from punters clandestinely and gain illegal easy money. Seized Total Net Cash Rs.69,310/-, Cell phones-04, betting amount receipts-04 from the possession of above accused persons. PARTICULARS OF APPREHENDED ACCUSED PERSONS:- 1st Group:- Charminar PS :-

 Organizing Bricket betting at H.No. 21-7-449, 2ND FLOOR, Ward no.2, Guljzar House, Charminar, Hyderabad

1. Ashish Sharma @ Ashish S/o. Tulsiram Sharma, age. 34 yrs, Occ. Cricket bookie R/o. Guljzar House, Charminar, Hyderabad N/o. Narnaul, Mahendragarh, Haryana State , (Cricket bookie)

2. Sandeep Mishra S/o. late Kedarnath Mishra, age. 44 yrs, occ. Cricket bookie R/o. Chelapura, Charminar, Hyderabad N/o. Mahendragarh, Haryana State, (Sub-bookie)

 Seized Property :- 1)Rs. 52,780/-, 2)Cell phones-02, 3). Betting amount collection receipts of punters-02

2nd group :- Moghalpura PS  Organizing cricket betting at Wifi Bar & Restaurant, Laldarwaza X road, Moghalpura, Hyderabad

3. Punna Jithender S/o. P.Sudershan, age. 33 yrs, Occ. Cricket bookie R/o. Laxmi Nagar, Rajannabhavi, Shalibanda, Hyderbad (Cricket bookie)

 BRIEF FACTS OF THE CASE:-

 Charminar PS:- The accused/Bookie Ashish Sharma is native of Narnaul, Mahendragarh, Haryana State, his parents were migrated to Hyderabad and settled in Charminar, Hyderabad. He is running petty business on commission basis. He is habit of betting money on the ongoing Cricket matches and gain knowledge about the cricket betting and came into close with main bookie Kanak Agarwal and due to financial problems they hatched a plan to gain easy money through Cricket battings and organizing cricket betting at his house premises, collecting betting amount from punters during ongoing Cricket matches i.e ICC Cricket world cup -2019 series and betting amount remit to main bookie Kanak Agarwal. They engaged one person Sandeep Mishra and identify interested punters who are habit of betting on the ongoing cricket matches and collecting betting amount from punters on commission basis. They used the Cricket exchange betting app and follow the ball to ball and over to over match betting rates, paying the ratio commission to the winning punters clandestinely and gain easy money illegally.

 Moghalpura PS : The accused/bookie Punna Jithender S/o. P.Sudershan is residing at Laxmi Nagar, Rajannabhavi, Shalibanda and organizing cricket betting in around Hyderabad and collect betting amount from punters at Wifi Bar & Restaurant, Laldarwaza X road, Moghalpura clandestinely and remit to main bookie Lalu @ Dada R/o. Pune on commission basis. The accused Punna Jithender is organizing on going ICC Cricket world cup -2019 at his house premises and accepting huge betting amounts directly, indirectly and over cell phone, what's app messages from the punters. For this purpose the bookies are using online website Cricket action.com and accepting betting amounts. Through these App they get match updates and betting rates ball by ball. They having 15 to 20 punters from them colleting betting amount for ongoing cricket matches.

 ARREST:- On 27-06-2019 the ICC Cricket World Cup -2019 match held at Emirates Old Trafford, England in between Vs West Indies the bookies are used to collect huge betting amounts from agents, punters directly and indirectly during the match acting, on a tip off, the sleuths of Commissioner's Task Force, North Zone Team, Hyderabad along with local police raided the betting premises under the limits of Charminar, Moghalpura PS, apprehended three organized betting bookies.

Seized 1) Rs. 69, 310/-, 2)Cell phones-04, 3)Betting amount collection receipts of punters-04 from the possession of above accused persons.

The apprehended 1st group accused persons along with seized material were handed over to SHO, Charminar PS & 2nd group accused person along with seized material was handed over to SHO, Moghalpura PS for further investigation.

The arrest was made under the supervision of Sri.P.Radhakishan Rao, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad lead by Sri K.Nageswar Rao, Inspector of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone, and SIs Sri. K.S.Ravi, K.Srikanth, and North Zone Task Force Team, Hyderabad.
