Jan.-Aug. 1853 there were issued a monthly (The Farm and garden) and a weekly (The Agricultor) which were suspended on resumption of American agriculturist, then edited by A. B. Allen and Orange Judd. July 1858?-Dec. 1858? published in a German edition (Der Amerikanische agriculturist) as well as the English one. Beginning Sept. 1894 divided into editions for the Middle, Central, Eastern, and Southern states. The Middle ed., published in New York, seems to be the principal one.
