COFFEE COUNTY, TENNESSEE COUNTY COURT MINUTE BOOK II 1841-1849 Abstracted by Judy Henley Phillips, Archivist From the Original Book in the Coffee County Archives The original spelling has been retained in these abstracts. Some of the clerk’s handwriting was difficult to decipher. As always, “L” “S” “T” and “I” “J” are often hard to distinguish. Any information of genealogical value has been included. In order to get these pages up now, I have not had time to recheck my transcription. The books have been filmed by the Tennessee State Library and Archives and are available on film at your nearest Family History Center. The inside cover: District No. 1 John H.
