The Department of Economics and Management Economics Major and Mathematics/Economics Major

The Economics major prepares students for careers in government and (after appropriate work experience) for top-30 MBA programs requiring strong quantitative reasoning skills. The Mathematics/Economics major prepares students for highly paid jobs such as business strategy consulting, master’s programs in financial engineering, PhD programs in economics, and (after appropriate work experience) top-10 MBA programs.
