BPD awards large project in to STRABAG subsidiary ZÜBLIN

PROJECT SCHEDULE: Amsterdam, 7 June 2018 The STRABAG subsidiary ZÜBLIN is 4/2018–3/2021 building a new commercial and residential building in the heart of Amsterdam with eleven aboveground floors and two underground CLIENT: levels. The project, called ODE, is named after the OOA C.V., Amsterdam, a subsidiary of BPD Europe neighbourhood of Amsterdam where it is being built. ZÜBLIN Nederland B.V. is realising ODE as general contractor on behalf of Contact the Dutch project development company OOA C.V., a subsidiary of BPD Europe. The tenant, Booking.com B.V., will open its new

Corporate Communications Tel. +49 221 824-2472 When it is completed in March 2021, ODE will have about 102,000 m² [email protected] of space, including the Booking.com offices (approx. 65,000 m²) as well as 42 exclusive owner-occupied apartments (total of about 7,000 m²), 30,000 m² of parking on two underground levels, a café, a restaurant and an additional 1,500 m² of retail space.

The unique location between the historic old town and the river IJ, along with the modern architecture and convenient location with excellent rail, road and airport access, makes ODE an attractive site for business, gastronomy, retail and living.

ODE is ZÜBLIN’s second large project in a central location along the river IJ in Amsterdam. The German construction company is currently building the Y-Towers, two high-rise towers for a hotel and quality apartments, in the city’s Overhoeks neighbourhood. Y-Towers will be completed by 2020.
