‘RETURN TO CHRISTMAS CREEK’ Cast Bios TORI ANDERSON (Amelia) — Tori Anderson was born in Edmonton, Alberta and at the age of one moved to Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The second youngest from a family of five children, Anderson and her siblings grew up immersed in the arts and in an endless list of farm chores. Upon graduating high school, Anderson moved to Toronto and received a BFA from York University’s Acting Conservatory. From there, she began working professionally in theatre, film and TV. Best known for her starring role in The CW’s “No Tomorrow,” a much-loved romantic comedy, Anderson was most recently seen in a season-long recurring role on NBC’s “Blindspot.” Other credits include portraying recurring characters on Syfy’s “Killjoys,” The CW’s “The LA Complex” and Nickelodeon’s “The Other Kingdom.” Her most recent television credits include starring in the YTV, TeenNick series “Open Heart” and appearing in guest roles on The CW series “Reign.” Anderson has also appeared in the films Killing Daddy, The Mermaid, To Have and to Hold and Cable Beach. On stage, Anderson has portrayed Michelle Phillips in Dream a Little Dream at the Phoenix Theatre in Arizona and Viv in Habit at the Luminato Festival. Anderson currently resides in Toronto. # # # STEPHEN HUSZAR (Mike) — Stephen Huszar is a Canadian film and television actor born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where he graduated from the University of Saskatchewan. Huszar began his acting career in 2004 with a role in the TV movie “The Cradle Will Fall.” His career took off rapidly and he appeared in recurring roles on popular series such as “Paradise Falls” for Showcase and “Corner Gas” for CTV. Huszar also appeared in one of The CW's longest-running series “Smallville.” Other notable credits include feature films such as Milton’s Secret (for which he also served as a producer), 30 Days of Night: Dark Days, directed by Ben Ketai, Faces in the Crowd, opposite Milla Jovovich, and Ferocious, opposite Kim Coates. Selected television credits include his portrayal of comic book super villain Plunder in The CW’s “The Flash,” Fox’s “Fringe,” Showcase’s “Continuum,” The CW’s “Supernatural” and a recurring role on Crave TV’s “Letterkenny,” Canada's top award-winning comedy series. Gray, and starred in various television movies including Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ “Magical Christmas Ornaments,” Netflix’s “Christmas Wedding Planner” and SuperChannel’s “Hometown Holiday.” Currently, Huszar is shooting the feature film Rabid, a remake of David Cronenberg’s cult classic, now directed by the Soska Sisters. Huszar divides his time between Toronto and Vancouver. # # # STEVEN WEBER (Harry) – Steven Weber made his New York stage debut opposite Geraldine Page in Odets’ Paradise Lost and soon made it to Broadway in Tom Stoppard’s The Real Thing. After a stint on “As the World Turns,” Weber went on to appear in several feature films, including The Flamingo Kid, Hamburger Hill, Single White Female, The Temp, Jeffrey and Dracula: Dead and Loving It. On television, Weber played the young John F. Kennedy in the mini-series “The Kennedy’s of Massachusetts” and also portrayed Jack Torrance in ABC’s remake of “The Shining.” Weber first gained national attention in the NBC sitcom “Wings” and did so again, 10 years later, in Aaron Sorkin’s “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip,” for which he received wide critical acclaim. He also starred in the Hallmark Channel original movie “Duke.” Returning to the stage, Weber played Leo Bloom in the hit Broadway production The Producers, starred in National Anthems at London’s Old Vic and, most recently, starred in The Philanthropist, opposite Matthew Broderick. Last summer, Weber made his first appearance at the Hollywood Bowl in the acclaimed live theatrical production of Mamma Mia. Weber’s recent television work includes starring roles in TNT’s “Murder in the First,” ABC Family’s “Chasing Life,” The CW’s “iZombie” and a guest-starring role on the HBO hit “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” Currently, Weber can be seen on HBO’s “Ballers” and in the upcoming season of the Epix series “Get Shorty.” # # # KARI MATCHETT (Pamela) – Having portrayed a wide variety of strong, female characters, Kari Matchett has carved out a distinctive place in Hollywood as a versatile actress. She is perhaps best known for starring alongside Piper Perabo for five seasons of USA’s hit series “Covert Affairs.” (more) HALLMARK MOVIES & MYSTERIES — ‘RETURN TO CHRISTMAS CREEK’ — CAST BIOS/Page 3 After her breakout role in ABC’s sci-fi drama “Invasion,” Matchett had a starring role on the hit FOX series “24.” She went on to recur on NBC’s “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip,” alongside Matthew Perry and Bradley Whitford, and then starred opposite Treat Williams in TNT’s “Heartland.” Matchett also had a recurring role on the long-running NBC drama “ER,” as well as an arc on TNT’s “Leverage” that spanned over four years. Matchett also appeared in “Crash,” the drama series based on the critically acclaimed movie of the same name, in which she portrayed Jules, the CEO of a music company and daughter to Dennis Hopper’s character. Matchett’s other TV credits include “Elementary,” “Criminal Minds,” “The Cleaner,” “Ugly Betty,” “The Philanthropist” and “Shark.” She also starred in the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries originals “The National Tree” with Andrew McCarthy, and “Lead with Your Heart,” opposite William Baldwin. Matchett was recently seen in the indie feature Maudie, co-starring alongside Ethan Hawke and Sally Hawkins.
