Viktor Bozhinov

Viktor Bozhinov is a graduate student at the Chair of Applied Statistics and Econometrics at the University of . He studied polical science and economics in Mainz. The topic of his PhD thesis is the introduction of the gender quota for supervisory boards of publicly quoted and fully co-determined companies in . His research interests include the determinants and effects of women on boards. In particular, he studies the effects of board gender diveristy on organizational outcomes. Furthermore, he is interested in sports economics and studies the determinants of choking under psychological pressure.

Thorsten Schank

Thorsten Schank is a professor of applied statistics and econometrics at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. He studied economics at the Universities of Mainz, Heidelberg and Manchester (UK). Upon completion of his PhD at the University of Manchester (2001), he was a researcher at the Institute of Employment Research (IAB) and an assistant professor at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg. His research interests include empirical economic research in labor economics, international economics and industrial relations. He has published in journals such as the European Economic Review, Journal of International Economics, Journal of Labor Economics, Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series A and Industrial and Labor Relations Review.
