Hunt's Christmas list this year. This statement was taken from the November 19 article of the Greensboro Daily News. As of this writing, Chavis is still serving a 17-21 year sentence. For those of you who don't remember what he was convicted for, it was for "participating in the firebombing of a grocery store in Wilmington in 1971". Chavis' original sentence was 25-29 years, but the only reason his sentence was cut was because of international controversy. Only after 'international pressure' did Hunt decide to even consider lowering Chavis' sentence. But even then he was reluctant because Hunt said that "He could not, and would not" consider releasing the Wilmington 10 from custody. Also, according to the article, those persons who are to be released early are considered because their sentances usually end within a month after Christmas. But still Chavis will not be considered because of some eligibility requirements. There is something more to Ben Chavis' case that has not been discovered, and yet, Gov. Hunt may be Locked In Coed Freed seeking re-election. Just recently, in an article written by this paper, By Fiorina G. Byrd Hunt was looking for endorsement by Rep. The N.C. A&T football ended its season on a winning note Saturday when they beat a tough NCCU squad, 23-20. There were few, if any, surprises in the game. A&T figured to be favored by five or six points; but, in a game like this, the team which is more fired up usually wins. It will be interesting to see what kind of recruiting year Coach McKinley will have. Next year's team will be composed mostly of seniors. Theme:"How Much To Pay For Your College Education'

The purpose of these workshops is to inform students and parents of the various forms of financial aid available to them in meeting the cost of higher education. A major majority of our students, as well as, high school seniors are not getting the maximum benefit from the student financial aid programs offered by the university. This may be due to the fact that some students are not informed and others do not understand the requirements governing the programs and the process for completing the necessary forms on a timely basis. The student financial aid program is a vital service devoted to enhancing the educational opportunities available and sustaining our enrollment. In that connection, the student financial aid office will conduct a series of financial aid workshops to be held in:

MEMORIAL UNION BALLROOM on NOVEMBER 27, 28, and 29 beginning 6:00 P.M.

Also, participating will be Mr. Jonah Smith and Staff from the Cashier's Office who will be explaining the fee assessment process based on current cost of education and other related matters.
